Whittle Lake - Extending To 20 Acres (8.1ha) With Varying Depths And 21 Well-spaced Swims. Extensive Landscaping Has Created A Wonderful-looking Fishery With Plenty Of Water And Features. The Lake Holds Around 300 Carp With The Average Size Being Around The 20lb-30lbs. There Are Currently Around 20+ 30lb+ Carp With The Largest Fish Now In Excess Of 45lbs. Thorney Mere - Extending To 15.4 Acres (6.2 Ha) With 16 Swims. A More Natural Looking Lake Than Whittle Mere, Surrounded By Mature Trees And With Extensive Marginal Vegetation. The Original Stock Is Estimated To Be Around 50 Fish, With The Current Owners Supplementing This With An Additional 130 Carp. Mirror Carp Have Been Caught Up To 37lbs. The Site Is Bordered By A 4ft High Solar Powered Electric Fence With Vehicular Access Points On Both The Southern And Eastern Boundaries. A Storage Container For Equipment Is Included In The Sale. Access The Site Is Accessed Directly Off The B1040 Via Farm Track. A Right Of Way Is To Be Granted Over The Access Track To The Site, For The Purpose Of Fishing And Associated Leisure Uses. Interested Parties Should Note The Active Mineral Workings Operation To The West Of The Site Will Continue To Share The Same Access Track.
