The Ramsey Initiative is a Self Funding not for profit Voluntary body , Whose aims and objectives ar set within in governance Documents ; Objects The Initiative is prime objects are the promotion of regeneration in its widest form in Ramsey through sustainable social, economic and environmental development and in particular a) To improve the image of the Town and promote it as a shopping, leisure, cultural and commercial destination; b) To promote commerce, industry, trade, tourism and services. c) To encourage and facilitate improvements to the physical environment of the Town d) To provide, develop and support business e) Provide a means of securing business involvement in the local community. f) To aid the process of inward investment into the Town Centre; g) To monitor the performance of the Town .To develop links between business and public authorities, to develop working relationships both within and outside the locality which will in turn achieve the greatest Prosperity for the town
